Eduardo Nave, born in Valencia in 1976, is a Spanish photographer whose work examines places marked by historical events, violence and collective memory. In series such as Like and Normandie: Les Rivages du Débarquement, he photographs landscapes after the event, often emptied of people and immediate action. Darwin selects Nave for this forensic attention to territory: apparently quiet images in which landscape functions as evidence, archive and historical trace.
