Inuuteq Storch, born in Sisimiut in 1989, is a Greenlandic photographer working between personal photographs, family archives and Greenland’s photographic history. Books including Porcelain Souls, Flesh and Keepers of the Ocean describe contemporary Greenland from within, countering images historically produced by outsiders. Darwin selects Storch for combining vernacular archives and everyday experience to reclaim authorship over how Greenlandic life, identity and memory enter the photographic record.
