Gleaned images circulate like contraband, boards becoming provisional contact sheets. Chance governs, yet format and chromatic discipline harden into system. We recognize here our bias toward obsessive re-editing: memory as montage, accumulation as authorship, randomness rehearsed until it resembles machinery. Sealed inside an anonymous grey plastic sleeve and reduced to a blunt typographic sticker, it withholds imagery and turns packaging into narrative. Thibault Tourmente filters pulp sci-fi suggestion and erotic tension through conceptual restraint. Self-published in 2024 in a strict edition of 20 signed and numbered copies, this 232-page volume operates between zine culture and controlled art object—where secrecy, circulation and scarcity define the work.

Technical Sheet
Title: In Bed With an Alien Kidnapper
Artist / Author: Thibault Tourmente
Date: 2024
Edition: 20 signed and numbered copies
Medium / Materials: Softcover
Dimensions: 21 × 29.2 cm
Pages: 232
Language: English
Publisher: Self-published
Condition: Very good; sealed in original plastic

A raw survey of underground print as political weapon. This staple-bound volume assembles covers and spreads from radical zines produced between 1970 and 2000—anarchist graphics, anti-imperialist tracts, DIY manifestos, agitprop typography. Selected by Thibault Tourmente and published by Independent Paper Consortium in France, it operates as both archive and montage. Photocopied textures, high-contrast black ink and blunt slogans preserve the urgency of self-published resistance culture.

Technical Sheet
Title: Radical Zine Archives
Artist / Author: Selected by Thibault Tourmente
Date: 2023
Technique / Printing Method: Black-and-white
Medium / Materials: Paperback
Dimensions: 21 × 14.6 cm
Pages: Unpaginated
Publisher: Independent Paper Consortium (France)
Condition: Very good
