KINTSUGI – Joan Fontcuberta, Editorial RM

A meditative photobook that embraces rupture and repair, echoing the Japanese art of mending with gold through a conceptual lens by Joan Fontcuberta. In KINTSUGI, Joan Fontcuberta turns the metaphor of broken ceramics mended with gold into a visual and philosophical inquiry. Drawing from the traditional Japanese technique that celebrates fracture as part of an object’s history, Fontcuberta reimagines the photographic medium as a site of healing and transformation.
