Romantic Mistress — Giuseppe Martella — 89books

Giuseppe Martella approaches romance through intimacy, desire and the unstable narratives that form around a relationship. The photographs avoid a conventional love story, instead building meaning from bodies, private moments and details that retain a sense of uncertainty. Published by 89books, Romantic Mistress works as a personal visual diary in which affection and distance are never entirely separated. The sequence depends on emotional proximity rather than explanation, leaving the relationship visible through fragments rather than a complete account.
