Quaderno Palermo #4 — Miron Zownir — 89books

Made during Miron Zownir’s 2024 residency in Palermo, this fourth Quaderno follows the German-Ukrainian photographer through the historic centre and surrounding neighbourhoods shortly before the European elections. His black-and-white portraits concentrate on people living with social and economic precarity, but the sequence is equally attentive to resilience and self-possession. Published by 89books in an edition of 300, the spiral-bound volume contains 37 photographs and a text by Kateryna Filyuk.
