BILD is a radical editorial object—an archival détournement and visual autopsy of Europe’s most scandalous tabloid. Over the course of 7 years, Berlin-based artist Claudio Pogo meticulously collected over 500 original BILD Zeitung front pages, beginning with the inaugural issue from 1952. He then erased all text , headlines, captions, and logos—leaving behind only the photographs and graphic elements. What remains is a haunting, surreal sequence of unspoken spectacles—mass media imagery stripped of its weapons.
