PRAXIS — Antoine d’Agata — Studio Vortex — 2022 — Signed

PRAXIS extends Antoine d’Agata’s work in Mexico across more than three decades, combining photography and text into a book about violence, desire, marginality and lived experience. Rather than separating image-making from the conditions in which the images were produced, d’Agata treats photography as an embodied practice: a position taken inside the world rather than a detached record of it. Published by Studio Vortex, the book brings together work made in Mexico from 1986 to 2021.
