BELGICUM — Stephan Vanfleteren — Hannibal — 2016

Belgicum is Stephan Vanfleteren’s subjective black-and-white portrait of Belgium: not a neutral survey, but a journey through a small country marked by history, melancholy and an elusive sense of identity. Built from more than fifteen years of wandering and photographing, the project became a reference point in Belgian photography. This 2016 Hannibal edition brings the work back into print with a text contribution by David Van Reybrouck.
