Walls, corners and ordinary objects become evidence of lives that have moved beyond the frame. Julio López Saguar approaches the city through what people leave behind, attending to colour, surface and the small arrangements that everyday use produces. Human absence gives these photographs their narrative space: an object or an empty setting suggests an encounter without fixing its story. The project belongs to a sustained way of looking at the familiar, in which close attention can make an overlooked detail feel newly legible. Designed by Mauricio d’Ors, the book brings these observations into a sequence of quiet exchanges between pictures and reader. Its title describes both the photographed spaces and the imaginative conversation they invite.
