Fièvre — Lorenzo Castore, Lamaindonne, 2021
A charged exploration of intimacy, this work unfolds as a raw emotional archive shaped over years. Images hover close to the body—blurred, grainy, unstable—where desire, tenderness and unease coexist. Rooted in a lineage of “trembling photography” akin to Robert Frank, it treats memory as something lived rather than fixed. Landscapes and fragments of daily life echo these tensions, building a restless, sensorial narrative that defines Castore’s deeply personal visual language.
