Atelier EXB publishes books at the intersection of photography, contemporary art and the sciences. Founded in 2002 by Xavier Barral, the publishing house has been run since 2020 by a five-person team: Jordan Alves, Nathalie Chapuis, Yseult Chehata, Charlotte Debiolles and Perrine Somma. Each publication is developed with equal attention to content, editing, design and production. The catalogue brings established and emerging artists into dialogue with the social, political and environmental questions that shape contemporary image culture. To date, Atelier EXB has published more than 300 titles.
