A sequel to Guts, this book follows Yamamoto’s family after they leave their cramped one-room apartment for a detached house in 2017. The setting changes—more space, separate rooms, a garden—but the photographs retain the same physical closeness, humour and disorder. By returning to the family in a new home, Yamamoto tests how much domestic identity belongs to architecture and how much travels with the people themselves. The book contains 114 photographs and was issued in 700 copies.
