Lord K2 organises his study of Thailand’s national sport around three elements: mystical attributes, battle preparations and warrior spirit. Made after years photographing Muay Thai in Thailand, the book looks beyond competition to the rituals, discipline and cultural structures surrounding the fighters. K2 also designed the volume, giving photography and graphic treatment equal weight in the presentation of a sport deeply embedded in Thai society. The first edition of 300 contains 90 colour photographs and was printed in Italy.
