SINGERS & STAGES — Shen Chao-Liang 沈昭良 — signed 2013

Portraits of travelling singers meet photographs of the elaborate truck-mounted stages used for performances in Taiwan. An accordion structure lets the two sequences unfold across an extended visual field, treating people and their performance environments as related subjects. This copy bears Shen Chao-Liang’s signature on the title page.
