In Sight , Yoko Asakai photographs people watching films in their own homes, keeping the screen outside the frame. Absorbed in stories we cannot see, her subjects reveal themselves through posture, expression and the rooms around them. Captions name each film and location, opening unexpected connections between the spectators and their chosen fiction. Made across six countries and nine cities, the series turns an ordinary private activity into a study of attention.
