Archivo Nómada Vol. 2 — Alberto García-Alix, Cabeza de Chorlito, 2024

An unprecedented immersion into a living archive at the core of Spain’s recent history. This volume gathers 2,465 photographs shot between 1982 and 1986, tracing daily life, friendships and excess during the aftermath of the Transition and the Movida. Raw, direct and unsentimental, the work captures a shifting Madrid while marking the artist’s move toward medium format. Less a retrospective than a continuous record, it unfolds as a dense, subjective chronicle shaped by proximity and experience.
