Des oiseaux — Albarrán Cabrera — Albarrán Cabrera — Atelier EXB

The birds in Albarrán Cabrera's photographs emerge from a world of reflections, layered tones and uncertain scale. Branches, water and sky become part of the subject rather than a neutral setting. Made for EXB's Des oiseaux series, the book gives the Spanish duo room to bring their printmaking sensibility to an animal usually photographed for identification or spectacle. Here a bird can be a fleeting shape, a pause in a landscape or a trace of light.
