A LA HORA, EN EL LUGAR — Eduardo Nave — PHREE — 2013

For five years, Nave returned to places where ETA had carried out fatal attacks, photographing each site on the same date and at the exact time the event occurred. By relinquishing control over light, weather and timing, apparently ordinary landscapes become records of absence and memory. The sequence of 75 photographs is accompanied by a text by Mireia A. Puigventós, confronting the present-day landscape with the violence historically embedded within it.
