Anderson compresses three decades of photography into eleven separate volumes, refusing a conventional career retrospective in favour of parallel bodies of work. Afghanistan, Haiti and political conflict sit beside family holidays, cars, France, China and New York, moving between reportage and private life without forcing them into a single narrative. Designed by Brian Roettinger, the eleven saddle-stitched books are housed together in a silkscreened fluted slipcase, turning the retrospective itself into a modular object.
