ALFONSO — Publio López Mondéjar

This richly illustrated volume documents the remarkable output of the photographic agency “Alfonso” founded by Alfonso Sánchez García and carried on by his sons, as they documented Spanish society, culture and politics across five decades. Editor and historian Publio López Mondéjar curates the images into a compelling narrative of Spain’s 20th‑century transformations—from monarchies and republics, through civil war and beyond.
