Marzia's Family — Mauro D'Agati — 89books

Mauro D’Agati enters the domestic world of Marzia and her family with the familiarity that characterises his strongest Sicilian work. The photographs stay close to interiors, celebrations, gestures and relationships, allowing the family’s own rhythms to structure the sequence. Published by 89books, Marzia’s Family is neither a sociological study nor a collection of isolated portraits; it is a sustained record of intimacy in Palermo, built through access, repetition and D’Agati’s long engagement with the city.
