Revisiting his documentation of the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests, Xu Yong reprints the photographs as negatives, collapsing analogue memory and digital process into a single gesture. Shot on smartphone and reworked through darkroom logic, the book questions how images survive censorship and time. This Collector’s Edition, published by Editions Bessard, includes a signed C-print and was issued in a limited run of 350 copies.
