The legendary Galerie au Bonheur du Jour, directed by Nicole Canet and located near Paris’s Palais-Royal, presents a meticulously curated selection of extremely rare vintage erotic photographs: male bodies, colonial echoes, early pornographic images that Nicole preserves as precious treasures. At Darwin we offer some of her catalogues — now collectible objects in themselves — along with a selection of original photographs, notably by Serge Jacques, editor of the mid-twentieth-century erotic magazine Folies de Paris et Hollywood.
