An icon dissolving inside architecture. Shot in Peter Zumthor’s Vals thermal baths, these images feel suspended between stone, water, and skin. Casta appears less as a model than as a presence absorbed by space — sometimes statue, sometimes shadow, sometimes just a trace of warmth against cold mineral surfaces. Issermann photographs beauty in a state of erosion, where glamour fades into atmosphere and the body becomes part of a larger, silent landscape.
