Shot over time in Beijing, this project follows Zi U, a sex worker, through tightly framed close-ups that register mood, fatigue and resolve. Fragments from her diary run alongside the images, shifting the work from document to collaboration. Banned in China, the book operates as both intimate testimony and quiet act of resistance.
