Faces, lettering and commercial images are detached from their intended messages and absorbed into his visual vocabulary of contrast, cropping and repetition. KANBAN is the seventh volume in Akio Nagasawa’s hand-bound series with silkscreen-printed canvas covers. The accordion-fold softcover extends the images across the book as a continuous visual surface. Limited to 350 signed and numbered copies.
