Daido hysteric no.4 — Daido Moriyama — Gallery COMMON & Akio Nagasawa Publishing — 2022

A complete reproduction of Moriyama’s 1993 collaboration with Hysteric Glamour, a landmark encounter between photography and Harajuku fashion culture. Moriyama spent roughly eighteen months photographing specifically for the original book, using only vertical images and filling 352 pages with streets, signs, objects and figures. The 2022 edition was produced by dismantling and scanning an original copy to closely reconstruct its scale and printing. Originally issued in 300 copies, this reproduction was published in 900 signed and numbered copies.
