ANOTHER COUNTRY IN NEW YORK: Flag (reprint) — Daido Moriyama — Akio Nagasawa Publishing — 2013

A facsimile of Moriyama’s radical 1974 Xerox book, made from photographs shot during his only visit to New York in 1971. The original was produced live at Shimizu Gallery: images were copied on a U-BIX machine, assembled and stapled on site, turning reproduction itself into part of the work. This 2013 edition reconstructs that physical form, including the Flag silkscreen cover. Published in two cover variants, each limited to 250 signed and numbered copies.
