Sakiko Nomura spent seven years photographing with a tiny camera she calls a spy camera. Night Flight is her first colour photobook, built largely from landscapes and fleeting scenes rather than the black-and-white male nudes for which she is best known. Bodies and night-time views still cross its pages, but the small camera gives the pictures a restless, grainy immediacy. The book catches places as they pass and treats a moment of uncertainty as something worth keeping.
